Who we are
The Pitch is operated by The Pitch Canada Inc., an indoor soccer facility opening in St. Catharines, Ontario. This policy covers the website at https://the-pitch.ca and the waitlist you can join there.
What we collect on the waitlist, and why
When you join the waitlist we store:
- your email address;
- the interests you tick (for example field time, camps or clinics);
- the time you signed up, your IP address and browser type;
- a record of your consent, including the version of the consent text you agreed to (v1).
We use this to send you opening updates and, while the founding-member offer is open, to assign founding-member ranking in the order sign-ups arrive. Interests help us send you only the updates that apply to you.
Legal basis
We email you only with your express consent, as required by Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Every email we send identifies The Pitch Canada Inc. and includes a way to unsubscribe.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
This version of the site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and shows no ads.
Retention
We keep your waitlist record until you unsubscribe, or until 24 months after opening announcements end, whichever comes first.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete the information we hold about you. Use the form on the-pitch.ca to ask; a mailbox will be published before opening.
Text messaging
Text messaging is not offered yet; when it is, you will be asked to opt in separately.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will post the new version here with a new version number and effective date. Material changes that affect how we use your information will be announced by email before they take effect.
